How important are extracirriculars for art schools?

I’m considering applying the School of Visual Arts (NYC), Parsons, Art Center College of Design, RISD, and SAIC.

So far, I pretty much have NO extracirriculars at all. I still have a couple of years of highschool left though.
I apologize for spelling a word incorrectly and not taking the time to be completely formal.
Funny thing is I’m in Accelerated English.

They are just as important at an art school as they are at any other school. You should choose extracurricular activities that correspond with the field that you hope to go into, so you should probably look into joining an art club or a photography club or even theater or something like that, you wouldn’t necessarily have to act if that wasn’t your cup of tea but maybe you could help paint sets or something like that. They don’t even have to be school related activities if you can find some kind of art club or theater to join outside of school that will look good on your application as well, Any kind of artistic extracurricular activity that you can do will definitely give you an advantage when a the school is deciding who to accept and who to reject. Good Luck!
